MB&F M.A.D. 1 Red Edition, a unique timepiece from Maximilian Büsser's M.A.D. Editions project designed to offer a more accessible entry into the brand's creative universe. Cased in 42mm polished stainless steel with a domed sapphire crystal, the watch features an unconventional lateral time display where hours and minutes are read on two rotating aluminum-alloy cylinders visible on the side of the case. The top cylinder is black for hours, while the bottom cylinder is a vibrant cherry red for minutes, both with luminous numerals. A standout feature is the inverted modified Miyota 821A automatic movement, which is visible from the top and powered by a large, custom triple-blade winding rotor made of titanium and tungsten that spins rapidly and has luminescent stripes. This "spaceship for the wrist" design, with its crown positioned uniquely at 12 o'clock, was a highly limited release that captured significant attention from watch enthusiasts.
