F.P. Journe Octa Lune is a poetic and technically refined expression of mechanical watchmaking, housed in a warm rose gold case and distinguished by its asymmetrical dial layout. At its heart lies the automatic Octa movement, celebrated for its impressive five-day power reserve and seamless integration of multiple complications. The dial features a beautifully rendered moon phase display labeled “Phases de Lune,” paired with a retrograde power reserve indicator that arcs gracefully across the left side, marked from 0 to 120 hours. A date aperture sits above, offering practical utility without disrupting the visual harmony. On the right, the time display is framed by Arabic numerals and a minute track, anchored by a small seconds subdial that adds depth and balance. The black leather strap with crocodile pattern complements the richness of the case, while the inscription “Invenit et Fecit” affirms François-Paul Journe’s commitment to inventing and crafting each piece in-house.
