Cartier Calibre de Cartier Reference 3299 features a substantial 42mm stainless steel case defined by thick, downward-curving lugs and a bold crown guard holding a seven-sided crown set with a signature faceted synthetic blue spinel cabochon. Its multi-layered, silver-opaline dial plays with contrasting textures and features an oversized black Roman numeral "XII" at the top, luminescent sword-shaped steel hands, and a running small-seconds subdial at 6 o'clock surrounded by a polished metal ring. Adding to its unique asymmetry is an expanded, curved three-date calendar aperture positioned at 3 o'clock. Powered by the landmark Calibre 1904-PS MC—Cartier's very first in-house automatic movement designed for its core men's lineup—the piece is completed with an integrated black leather strap and a stainless steel folding deployment clasp.
