F.P. Journe Centigraphe is a high-end, manually-wound mechanical watch known for its technical achievements. The watch features a unique movement (Calibre 1506) that allows it to measure elapsed times from one hundredth of a second up to 10 minutes across three subsidiary dials. A key innovation is the isolation of the chronograph function from the timekeeping function, which ensures the balance amplitude remains unaffected when the chronograph is running. The watch utilizes an ergonomic chronograph activation system with a rocker arm at 2 o'clock on the caseband instead of traditional pushers.
