Mb&f Yinka Ilori M.A.D.1S “Grow Your Dreams”

M.A.D.1S "Grow Your Dreams" Water edition is a vibrant collaboration between M.A.D.Editions and British-Nigerian artist Yinka Ilori. This timepiece features a 42mm stainless steel case and is powered by a Swiss-made La Joux-Perret G101 automatic movement. Its most distinctive visual element is the triple-blade titanium winding rotor on the front, which has been re-engineered to be slimmer and intricately milled with Ilori's signature tree motif. The rotor is anodized in a deep cobalt blue and etched with the Super-LumiNova-highlighted motto "Grow Your Dreams". The watch utilizes a lateral time display via a rotating cylinder with numerals custom-designed by Ilori. A first for the brand, the bezel includes a color-coordinated green inlay made of HyCeram liquid ceramic, while the aluminum baseplate beneath the rotor is stamped with 3D wave textures. Completing the "Water" theme, the watch is fitted with mismatched rubber straps in two shades of blue embossed with leaf patterns.
